Vac-Sweep 65 Above-Ground Pressure-Side Pool Cleaner
The Polaris 6-130-00 is the Vac-Sweep 65 Above-Ground Pressure-Side Pool Cleaner. It is listed for above-ground pools up to five feet deep. Return-water pressure powers this complete cleaner; no separate booster pump is required.
Before you order
Use this model for an above-ground pool up to five feet deep, including an uneven bottom within that limit. It uses the existing pump’s clean return flow and does not need a separate booster pump. Check the return fitting and hose adjustment before installation.
Product overview
The Polaris 65 uses a floating surface module and a jet-sweep hose assembly to loosen and collect debris below the surface. Its removable all-purpose bag captures leaves, pebbles and other debris while the pool’s normal filtration system continues working.
Cleaning features
- Jet-sweep action loosens debris on the bottom and along the sides, including harder-to-reach areas.
- A floating surface module guides the sweep hose and easy-to-remove, single-chamber debris bag below it.
- Automatic direction changes help the cleaner move around the pool. The manual describes normal direction changes about every 15–25 seconds; water flow and hose fit need adjustment during setup.
- The complete-cleaner diagram identifies the surface module, sweep hose, jet-sweep assembly, all-purpose bag, float hose, quick disconnect and Universal Wall Fitting.
- Polaris advertises bottom cleaning and side sweeping in three hours or less. Follow its setup instructions for your pool’s depth, length and return connection.
Choose the right configuration

Safety and handling: Read the full manual and vinyl-liner wear warning. Clean the filter and flush new lines before installation. Do not handle the cleaner while it operates. Remove it before swimming or shock treatment. Disconnect it before filter cleaning/backwashing and run filtration for at least five minutes before reconnecting. Drain it and store the hoses as directed for winter.
